This beautiful place is located in the heart of northern Italy, the fashion capital of the world; Milan is a metropolis with a richness that includes some of the historical past. Milan attracts many visitors around the world to see their beautiful places. There are millions of places to visit in Milan that would take you to its cultural past and the rich heritage of it. From being one of the most cultural places in the world, explore the richness of the past and history of Italy’s financial capital through the famous places to visit in Milan, Italy that is considered to be the third most places visited city after Rome and Venice.

Check out some of the places I visited when I was in Milan, Italy

Santa Maria Delle Grazie

Being a tourist, it is difficult to know what to visit, where. Visit one of the most attractive places in Milan i.e. the Santa Maria Delle Grazie and the experience is something different that you will cherish for years. The place is 4.6 meters high and 8.8 meters wide which contains some marvelous paintings made with tempera and oil on a gypsum preparation. If you are a history lover, this would be an ideal place for you to visit and gain knowledge and information about the past.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the oldest enclosed shopping malls in the world and of course one of the famous tourist attractions in Milan. The mall which contains blue glass vaulted celling’s, mosaic flooring, and the towering central dome is as beautiful as the high-end cultured offered in the shops, which includes Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc. It is one of the must-go places in Milan that travelers love to visit.

Duomo di Milano

Another place like the European countries, Milan which is known for iconic architectural sites. One of the top attractions is Duomo that is located in the center of the city in the heart of Piazza Del Duomo. This place is designed with pink-hued white marble which is brought from the quarries Lake maggiore. If you are in Milan you can’t forget to go on the rooftop to this stunning cathedral to capture the beautiful sight of the city.

Piazza Dei Mercanti

Looking for more places to visit in Milan at night? This place is the internal part of Milan Sightseeing that provides a view of medieval life in the city at night. On the southern side of the Loggia degli Osli the city’s authorities had once addressed the people from the structure’s balconies. This place has turned into the Christmas market during the winter holidays.

Luini

One of the most popular places in Milan. There is usually a line to go in this restaurant. When I visited Milan, I wanted to go to this place but due to the long wait in the line, I thought of visiting the place after 2 hours.
