The beaches

The Bahamas offers year round warm weather which makes the beach the prime spot for relaxing vacation in the sun and some of the best places is to unwind are the beaches overlooking the county’s clear blue water. The most famous Jaws beach is a part of this park which the name comes from the Steven Spielberg’s famous Jaws.

Pink Sands Beach

The Bahamas has to offer some unique experiences which include feeding beach pigs and the ability to drive between two different bodies of water. The Eleuthera Island sits between Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean ocean. Some of the other unique experiences can be you can enjoy the Bahamas is sinking the toes into the beach with pink sand. The beach with some of the roes-hued shoreline is located in Harbor Island which makes a truly dreamy seaside landscape.

The Pig beach

One of the most unforgettable attractions in Bahamas. The name hasn’t randomly come to the beach; it actually comes from a small population of pigs that call this beach home. The pigs live here, which take dips on the ocean and are known to be friendly to the locals and the travellers who make the trek to this uninhabited island. The real reason on how the pigs came on this beach is still unknown.

The Glass window Bridge

One of the most unique views in the Bahamas is the glass window bridge. The strip of the land and the road, which mainly connects Eleuthera’s Gregory town and the lower bogue which measures just 30 feet wide at the narrowest point. On the northern side you will see rough, deep blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

John Watling’s Distillery

If you want a break from the snorkeling, boating or beach lounging considering the touring of the new providence Island’s John Watling’s distillery. The distillery in famous for the homemade rum, which you can sample and see the production during the tour. The other alcohol would be vodka which is filtered with pink sand from Eleuthera and a gin which is infused with plants from Andros.
