Dubai Eats Better Than It Dresses

40 Affordable(may be debatable) Food Places, I Actually Ate At (And Over-Ordered Every Time)

Dubai is often marketed as a city of luxury.
Gold cappuccinos. Rooftop dining. Michelin stars.

But that version of Dubai is incomplete.

I found the real city at shared tables sometimes alone, often with friends ordering far more than planned because the food deserved it. One shawarma turned into two. A kebab plate demanded company. Lebanese mezze kept arriving. Iranian rice never came alone.

Ironically, the more people at the table, the cheaper it became per head.

That is why this list exists.

These are places I visited. Paid at. Returned to.
Some nights, the bill went up only because too many friends showed up and too many dishes were ordered not because the food was expensive.

If you are in a group, Dubai eats cheap.
If you know where to go, Dubai eats well.
